In Honduras, Central America, the Yamasa brand is popular. present – and with great success – at Avicola Inavih, Inversiones Avicolas de Honduras S.A. Since 2013, the sorting machines produced in Brazil by Yamasa have started to revolutionize egg processing in poultry, which was previously done manually.
Today, the farm has already grown. It has four classifiers, three with a capacity to classify 30,600 eggs/hour, and one with a capacity of 18,000 eggs/hour. Now, the Honduran company awaits the arrival of the fifth machine, a CHS 30,600, needed for the project to expand poultry production.
Currently, Inavih produces 720,000 eggs a day, a volume that partly supplies the domestic market. Since 2015 at least 15% of the production is produced. exported to the United States, El Salvador and Costa Rica.
As plans are always for growth, the company sent three of its strategic employees to participate in intensive training on Yamasa sorters. The experienced production manager Marco T&ulio;lio Nunes, with 38 years of work in the poultry industry – being 14 of them &agra; As head of the Inavih team -, he traveled to Brazil with electrical technician Juan Carlos Molina and mechanical technician Erick José Flowers. For about a week, they accompanied the assembly and tests on the very machine that the company acquired from Yamasa and that will help the company. to increase productivity on the farm in Honduras. They were also able to learn more about the functioning of the efficient Yamasa brand egg grading system, which has helped the poultry farm so much to grow.
“We are very pleased with Yamasa, not only are we happy with our services. for its technology, as well as for the technical service and the relationship with the team that assists us, including the Yamasaki Family”, praises the Honduran production manager. With the first Yamasa machine, the company`s profitability was lower, as there was no classification by weight, there was no way to charge for larger eggs, as they were all packed together, without differentiation. . “Today, we sell jumbo eggs very well, at a different price”, says Marco T&ulio; “Now we deliver the eggs according to what the customer asks for, in a uniform manner”, he points out.
Electrician Juan Carlos Molina and mechanical technician Erick José Flores agrees that it was very important to participate in the training at the Yamasa factory. After intensive training in Rinópolis, both returned to work at Inavih ready to make the most of each of the classifiers. Both consider that Yamasa’s equipment is very practical, efficient and simple to operate, positive results guaranteed by the quality of the technology developed by the factory in Brazil.
It was at an international event that the owners of Inversiones Avícolas de Honduras S.A. learned about the egg grading technology developed by Yamasa. Today, the company considers it to be the right decision, as the farm is fully equipped. very well adapted to the technology of the Brazilian brand, which supports them and makes the farm`s slogan stand out more and more: “At Inavih, every egg counts”.
