Aviário Santo Antonio completes 50 years of partnership with Yamasa

In five decades, ASA, from Minas Gerais, walked side by side with the poultry equipment company and Yamasa was a great partner during this period.

This year, the traditional Aviário Santo António (ASA), from Minas Gerais, celebrates its 50th anniversary and has reasons, too, to raise a toast to the public. This is a partnership that has been maintained with Yamasa since the company`s inception. Since the 1970s, ASA eggs have been graded on Yamasa machines.

Nelson Yamasaki, President of Yamasa, speaks of the pride in serving this important client from Minas Gerais since the beginning. He remembers watching the delivery of a Yamasa grader in the pioneering days, when everything was yet to be done and the egg processing room at Aviário Santo António was still little more than a garage. “We always had a very good business relationship with the partners of ASA, always ready to improve production, invest in good equipment, broaden their horizons. É It is an honor to be witnesses of the success of this great Brazilian company, and to have grown along with it”, emphasizes Yamasaki.

Of the five member families of Grupo ASA – which also includes agricultural production farms -, two are represented in the current administration by André Paixão (commercial director) and Aulus Assunóo (financial director). Along with Benedito Lemos, production director, the two make up an important triad for the company’s success.

Working at ASA since he was 16 years old, Aulus Assunção has followed the evolution of Yamasa machines and praises the Brazilian factory`s ability to stand up to the international brands that emerged with the over the years. He considers it admirable that the Yamasaki Family has strengthened with the market dispute. “Instead of fearing competition from imported machines, Nelson Yamasaki took it as a challenge to evolve further and grow, even starting to export”, he points out.

“Today we have four Yamasa machines and we already have one. We are expecting a new sorter, a larger and more modern model from the brand, with all the accessories. We are confident in continuing to honor Yamasa because its equipment is constantly evolving, negotiations flow smoothly and we have technical assistance that is always efficient and ready to assist us”, testifies Aulus, with the certainty that the partnership   evolving as it has been in the five decades of the powerful Aviário Santo António.

IT ALL STARTED IN 1968

Founded in 1968, in Nepomuceno (MG), the Aviário Santo Antó It is considered one of the largest egg producers in the country, with emphasis also in Latin America. In addition to fresh eggs, it manufactures egg products, always within the strictest health standards. Egg production units are concentrated in the towns of Nepomuceno – where it all began in 1968 – and in Lavras, both in the South Region of Minas Gerais.
